Director - Process Economics Program SRI Consulting, a division of Access Intelligence, LLC is looking for a Director with significant industry experience in process economics to join its Process Economics Program (PEP). This position may be located in our Menlo Park, CA or in The Woodlands, TX office. We are seeking a professional who will be responsible for management of program development and growth, sales and marketing and client relations. In addition, the candidate will establish and manage budgets and be accountable for profit and loss for the PEP program. Deep knowledge of process design and current industry issues and trends is critical. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing and writing reports on cutting-edge process technologies and managing and participating in private client consulting projects. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, mentoring and managing career development of the staff, providing advisory services to clients and customer service liaison; marketing reports and programs to prospective clients; and presenting at industry conferences. BS in chemical engineering or equivalent experience is required. MBA is a plus. Proven experience managing and supervising other employees is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is flexible and can handle a variety of assignments under time and budget constraints. In addition, the candidate will have 8-10 years of experience with planning, business development, or market research at a leading chemical company, or experience with a consulting company serving the needs of these companies. Successful sales experience is required. Top notch communication skills and intellectual curiosity are essential. Proficiency with MS Office is imperative. Familiarity with MS Project and modeling simulation software such as ASPEN is a plus. Travel is required.
